HICC Pet® stands for “Health Innovations for Cleaner, Comfier Pets.” Headquartered in the United States with an APAC office in Singapore, we specialize in pet wellness and grooming products.
The Sales Executive will manage key retail and distributor accounts, develop new business opportunities, and ensure excellent in-store execution and customer engagement to strengthen HICC Pet’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management
- Manage and grow assigned retail, distributor, and online accounts (e.g., pet stores, grooming salons, vet clinics, and e-commerce partners).
- Achieve monthly sales targets, focusing on volume growth, product listings, and brand visibility.
- Identify new business opportunities, secure new retail placements, and expand coverage in the Singapore pet care market.
- Negotiate listings, pricing, and promotions with customers to maximize sell-in and sell-through.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
Trade & Merchandising Execution
- Ensure products are well stocked, rotated, and displayed according to HICC Pet merchandising standards.
- Preparation of goods and delivery to resellers.
- Implement and monitor in-store promotions, sampling activities, and POSM placement.
- Conduct regular store visits to review stock levels, pricing, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with the operations and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and smooth execution of campaigns.
Customer Engagement & Support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, store staff, and distributors.
- Provide product education and demonstrations where relevant.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Support pet events, roadshows, and brand activations when required.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with marketing to align sales plans with brand campaigns and seasonal activities.
- Coordinate with logistics/warehouse for stock movement, delivery schedules, and returns.
- Submit weekly activity reports, sales updates, and key market feedback.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in FMCG, pet care, or related consumer product sales.
- Proven sales and negotiation skills with a good understanding of retail operations.
- Passionate about pets and familiar with Singapore’s pet retail landscape (advantageous).
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and basic sales reporting tools.
- Possess own vehicle or mode of transport for customer visits and delivery of orders.
