We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our fresh produce team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and driving sales growth across wholesale, retail, and food service channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients including wholesalers, supermarkets, restaurants, and distributors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share in the fresh produce segment.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process — from prospecting and negotiation to order fulfilment and after-sales support.
- Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure timely delivery, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and proposals for management review.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in the fresh produce, FMCG, or food distribution sector.
- Strong understanding of perishable goods logistics, cold chain management, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally when required.
