Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with both new and existing corporate clients, ensuring consistent follow-ups and account development.
- Promote the company’s products and services through effective marketing and promotional activities.
- Conduct cold calls and arrange appointments to secure new sales opportunities.
- Actively visit customers on a daily basis to drive sales and strengthen client engagement.
- Participate in industry trade shows and exhibitions to identify and generate potential business leads.
- Stay updated on technological advancements, market trends, and evolving customer needs.
- Take full ownership of assigned tasks, demonstrating professionalism, commitment, and a strong work ethic.
- Provide daily reports to the manager on customer visits and sales activities.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Educational Qualification and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Some relevant working experience in a related field or similar position.
- Engineering background preferred.
- Familiarity with the marine industry and established contacts within the sector will be advantageous.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport across different organizational levels.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management abilities.
- Preferably able to interpret and understand technical drawings.
