Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Client Acquisition
    • Identify and target new clients in precision engineering sectors (aerospace, medical, automotive, industrial)
    • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and trade shows
    • Develop customized sales strategies for key accounts
  • Technical Sales & Customer Management
    • Understand client needs and propose CNC machining, tooling, or fabrication solutions
    • Prepare technical quotations (materials, tolerances, lead times)
    • Manage pipeline and follow up on opportunities (CRM tracking)
  • Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
    • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
    • Upsell value-added services (surface finishing, assembly, testing)
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Liaise with engineering/production teams for feasibility assessments
    • Resolve customer complaints with QA/operations
    • Provide feedback on market demands to R&D
  • Contract & Compliance
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts
    • Ensure compliance with export controls (ITAR, EAR) if applicable
    • Maintain sales records and reports
Qualifications & Skills
  • Must-Have
    • Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Business
    • 3+ years in technical sales (precision machining, manufacturing, or related)
    • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot)
    • Reading technical drawings (basic GD&T understanding)
    • MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred
    • Existing network in aerospace/medical industries
    • Experience with long sales cycles (6–12 months)
