Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Executive to support our sales team in developing business opportunities within various industrial sectors with complex waste streams, including Pharmaceutical, Microelectronics, and Chemical Industries in Singapore. This role will focus on supporting business development activities, assisting in tender preparation, and providing operational support to drive revenue growth in the specialised field of hazardous waste management.

Job Description
  • Business Development Support: Assist the Sales Manager/Head of Sales in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within industrial sectors, supporting lead generation and qualification activities to contribute to revenue and volume growth.
  • Customer Relationship Support: Support the development and maintenance of customer relationships through coordinated communication and follow-up activities with existing and prospective clients.
  • Proposal & Tender Support: Assist in developing comprehensive quotations, proposals, and tender submissions, conducting research and gathering technical information to support compelling submissions that showcase our hazardous waste management capabilities.
  • Market Research & Intelligence: Conduct detailed market research to identify new opportunities, track competitor activities, and gather market intelligence on the Singapore toxic industrial waste landscape to support strategic decision-making.
  • Internal Coordination Support: Facilitate communication between customers and internal teams (technical, logistics, operations) to support the development of tailored solutions for complex waste streams.
  • Data Management & Administration: Maintain accurate and timely records of customer interactions, waste profiling data, and inquiries in the Salesforce system, ensuring data integrity and supporting sales forecasting activities.
  • EHS & Compliance Support: Support EHS compliance activities by staying current with environmental regulations, including NEA requirements and Basel Convention standards, and assisting in ensuring all service offerings remain compliant.
  • Technical Documentation: Assist in coordinating waste profiling, SDS documentation, and technical specifications to support proposal development and customer requirements.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of customer meetings, customer audits and site visits.
  • Safety & Ethics: Uphold company's Always Safe rules and maintain the highest standards of ethics and compliance in all activities, supporting the team's commitment to safety and professional conduct.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • For Diploma holders, a minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience or experience in a chemical-related field is required.
  • For Degree holders, a minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience or experience in a chemical-related field is required. (Waste industry experience is not mandatory).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, strong customer service orientation, and ability to facilitate cross-functional team coordination.
  • Strong research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills to support market intelligence gathering and tender preparation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management abilities, and capacity to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate CRM records.
  • Self-motivated, proactive with a strong work ethic, professional integrity, and a collaborative team player mindset focused on revenue growth.
