Responsibilities

• Review and interpret customer RFQs, drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracting as required.
• Work closely with the sales team to develop competitive pricing strategies.
• Maintain and update estimating tools, databases, and pricing models.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to gather pricing for materials and services.
• Participate in bid review meetings and provide input on pricing and strategy.
• Follow up on submitted estimates and assist with closing sales.
• Ensure estimates are aligned with internal costing standards and profit margins.
• Support post-project reviews to evaluate estimating accuracy and improve processes.
