A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Sales & Business Development professional. The candidate will implement sales strategies to secure new projects, identify and establish client relationships, and prepare competitive tenders. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with proven sales experience in the construction sector, especially railway projects. Implement sales strategies to secure new projects and expand client base.
Identify potential clients, establish relationships, and generate business leads.
Prepare and submit tenders, quotations and project costings accurately and competitively.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure project alignment.
Provide technical and commercial insights to enhance project profitability.
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Proven track record in sales within the construction or engineering sector-Railway projects.
Strong experience in tendering, project costing and contract negotiation.
Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, target-driven, and able to work independently.
