Job summary

A dynamic sales engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a motivated sales engineer to manage customer relationships and develop proposals. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in sales engineering or a related field, along with a strong customer focus and self-motivation. The candidate will handle customer inquiries, process orders, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. In return, the company offers a competitive salary with commission, allowances, and a 5-day work week.

  • Prepare proposals and sales quotations; assist in tender submissions.
  • Regularly follow up with customers to convert proposals to orders.
  • Process orders and coordinate logistics and technical team.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely project completions.

Overview

Include but not limited to the following:

  • Contacting new / potential customers and developing relationship
  • Meet customers and make routine follow up to generate enquiries
  • Prepare proposals and sales quotations; assist in the preparation and submission of tenders
  • Regularly follow up with customers to convert proposals to orders
  • Process orders including final costing, supplier orders and coordinate with logistics and the technical team on issues relating to delivery, installation and project completions
  • Routinely meeting customers to address any issues related to delivery and installation
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved through timely projects completion, professionalism and efficiency
  • Prepare internal weekly reports, forecasting and other routine reports on a timely basis and as requested from time to time by Sales Manager / Director
  • Ensure good relations are maintained with customers and suppliers
