Job summary

A leading environmental solutions group in Singapore is seeking a dynamic sales/business development professional to drive market expansion in the hazardous and toxic waste management sector. The role includes developing client relationships, leading business development efforts, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Candidates must have a minimum diploma in a relevant field and a proven track record in sales. A valid vehicle is required. Competitive salary includes SGD 7,000 per month, annual commissions, and allowances.

Qualifications

  • Minimum diploma in relevant fields such as Business or Environmental Science.
  • Proven sales/business development track record in waste management.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental compliance and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to expand market share in hazardous/toxic waste management.
  • Build and manage long-term client relationships across sectors.
  • Lead business development activities including proposals and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams for client solutions.
  • Stay updated on environmental regulations and align offerings.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and high-level client engagements.
  • Provide sales forecasts and pipeline updates to management.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitor insights.

Working Hours

5.5 days per week

Salary Range

SGD 7,000 per month + Annual Commissions +VB + Transport Allowances $500

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand market share in hazardous/toxic waste management.
  • Build and manage long-term client relationships across industrial, marine, and commercial sectors.
  • Lead end-to-end business development activities, including proposals, tenders, negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and technical teams to deliver compliant, client-focused solutions.
  • Stay ahead of environmental regulations (NEA, IMO, Basel Convention) and ensure offerings are aligned.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and high-level client engagements.
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts, sales reports, and pipeline updates to management.
  • Gather and share market intelligence and competitor insights.
Requirements
  • Min Diploma in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales/business development, with background in waste management.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental compliance and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • MUST possess own vehicle
