Role Overview

As a Sales Associate, you are the face of the Subdued brand on the shop floor. You play a key role in delivering friendly, engaging, and fashion‑led customer experience while supporting daily store operations, visual standards and sales performance.

This role is ideal for someone energetic, confident and passionate about fashion, who enjoys interacting with customers and working in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Areas of Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Brand Representation

• Greet and engage customers confidently, creating a welcoming and positive in‑store experience.
• Provide styling advice and product recommendations aligned with current trends and Subdued’s brand identity.
• Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat visits and brand loyalty.
• Handle customer enquiries and basic service issues professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Represent the Subdued brand positively through attitude, communication and personal presentation.

Sales & Floor Support

• Support store sales targets through active selling and customer engagement.
• Assist during peak trading hours to ensure strong floor coverage.
• Support promotions, new arrivals and seasonal launches.

Visual Merchandising & Store Standards

• Maintain high visual and housekeeping standards on the sales floor and fitting rooms.
• Ensure products are neatly displayed, well‑stocked and easy for customers to browse.
• Support visual updates and merchandising changes as directed by store leadership.

Operations Support

• Perform cashiering duties accurately, including POS transactions and cash handling.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, tagging and replenishing stock.
• Support stock accuracy through proper handling and storage of merchandise.
• Follow company policies, safety guidelines and loss prevention procedures.
• Carry out ad‑hoc tasks assigned by Store or Assistant Store Managers.
