Job summary

A leading retail company in Singapore is seeking a Sales Assistant/Store Associate to provide excellent customer service and assist with sales transactions. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required as training will be provided. This is a permanent position with a full-time schedule including Saturdays.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail or cashiering experience is an advantage but not required, training is provided.
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome customers and deliver good customer service.
  • Help customers locate products and provide recommendations.
  • Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
  • Keep the sales floor and cashier area clean and organized.
  • Stock and replenish merchandise as needed.
  • Handle customer returns and exchanges.

  • Position Title: Sales Assistant/ Store Associate
  • Working Location: Temple Street
  • Working Hours: 5-6 days (Monday-Friday & Alt Saturday, 9.00am – 6.00pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Commission + PB
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Warmly welcome customers and deliver good customer service.
  • Help customers locate products, respond to questions, and provide product recommendations.
  • Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately across various forms of payment.
  • Keep the sales floor and cashier area clean and well organized.
  • Stock and replenish merchandise on shelves and displays as needed.
  • Support inventory counts and tag new merchandise.
  • Handle customer returns and exchanges in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge, promotions, and store policies.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
