A logistics company in Singapore is looking for a Sales and Purchasing Support professional. You will be responsible for sales support, coordinating air and sea shipments, and ensuring timely collection and delivery. Candidates should have 1-3 years of relevant experience in Ocean freight and freight forwarding, with good communication abilities and Microsoft Office skills. This role requires a team player able to work independently, contributing to the company's growth and efficiency.
Salary: $1,800 - $2,500 basic + Sales Commission
Location: 5 Changi South Street 3, Singapore 486117
Provide sales and local purchasing support including handling of customer enquiries, processing orders and arranging deliveries/shipments.
Book and coordinate air and sea shipments for vendors and customers.
Handle full set of air and sea freight shipping documentations.
Liaise with vendors & customers / transporter on timely collections and/or delivery of cargoes/shipments/container.
Back up counter sales duties as and when required to generate sales and profit for the Company.
Assist in adhoc duties as and when required.
1-3 years of relevant experience / Experience in handling Ocean freight shipment.
Experience in freight forwarding & Ocean freight is preferred.
Good team player with the ability to work independently
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
