Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a responsible team player to manage customer inquiries, issue orders, and liaise with suppliers. The ideal candidate must have at least Nitec (ITE) or GCE ‘O’ Level qualifications, English proficiency, and familiarity with Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP is preferred. This role offers the opportunity to work independently and support the sales team effectively.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification required: Nitec (ITE) and/or GCE ‘O’ Level.
  • Proficiency in English and ability to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
  • Reliable team player able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Some experience with SAP or a similar system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer inquiries, issue quotations, sales and delivery orders.
  • Accurately enter and process sales orders.
  • Liaise with suppliers in China and coordinate purchases.
  • Monitor delivery schedules for timely deliveries.
  • Follow up on outstanding sales and purchase orders.
  • Proactively track orders.
  • Provide admin support to the sales team.

Responsibilities
  • Efficiently process customer inquiries by issuing quotations, sales order and delivery order.
  • Accurately enter and process sales orders into our system, ensuring all details are correct.
  • Liaise with suppliers (factories in China), issue purchase orders and coordinate purchases to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
  • Monitor delivery/shipping schedule for timely deliveries, for both local and overseas deliveries.
  • Follow up on outstanding sales and purchase orders.
  • Proactively track orders.
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to the sales team.
