Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate with third-party documentation vendors, including freight forwarders, trade documentation service providers, and insurance companies
- Monitor vendor performance, ensure timely delivery of documentation, and elevate issues as necessary.
- Analyze trade data to identify trends, opportunities, and cost‑saving measures.
- Act as the main point of contact between internal teams (istics, finance, legal) and documentation vendors to ensure smooth information flow.
- Serve as the primary business owner of the Trade Systems, accountable for its functionality, performance, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with IT, compliance, operations, and business users to ensure system requirements are met, and enhancements are implemented effectively.
- Define and maintain system governance, including user access, data integrity, compliance, and change‑control processes.
- Develop and maintain SOPs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in international trade, import/export operations, or trade compliance is an advantage.
- Knowledge of trade finance instruments (LCs, B/Ls, etc.).
- Knowledge of digitalization and automation of trade documentation processes, ensuring secure and efficient document handling.
