Sales Account Manager, Digital Media & Creative Services –
ACCSS Digital Overview
ACCSS Digital is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Account Manager to drive revenue growth by aggressively developing new client relationships (hunting) and strategically managing and expanding existing accounts (farming).
This role requires a proven background in the digital media space, a flair for creative and consultative selling, and the ability to navigate complex client structures, including the management of Government/Public Sector clients. The ideal candidate is a strategic hunter and an exceptional relationship builder who can translate both digital and creative solutions into clear client value.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Hunting (New Client Acquisition)
- Proactively hunt for new business opportunities and strategically target prospective clients within various sectors, including key Government/Public Sector accounts.
- Generate a robust sales pipeline by conducting market research, cold outreach, networking, and developing strategic partnerships.
- Conceptualize and deliver integrated solutions that combine digital media placement, strategy, and creative production services (e.g., video, rich media, design, content strategy) to directly address client business challenges and objectives.
- Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and discovery to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure, to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
2. Account Management & Client Retention (Farming)
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted digital media and creative consultant.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to foster long-term client loyalty and increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling ACCSS Digital's full suite of services, with a specific focus on introducing new creative projects.
- Ensure the successful delivery of campaigns by collaborating closely with internal teams (Creative, Strategy, Operations, and Ad Ops).
- Conduct regular performance reviews, presenting data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to demonstrate campaign ROI and guide future planning.
3. Government & Public Sector Client Focus
- Specifically manage and grow relationships with Government agencies and Public Sector clients, ensuring compliance with all procurement regulations and tender processes.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of public sector communication objectives and requirements to propose appropriate and impactful digital and creative solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven sales experience in the digital media, advertising technology (AdTech), or marketing/creative agency space.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas, with strong experience in both "hunting" (new business) and "farming" (account growth).
- Experience in selling both Digital Media services (e.g., programmatic, social) and Creative Services (e.g., content creation, design, video production).
- Prior experience managing Government or Public Sector accounts is highly advantageous.
- Experience in creative and consultative selling—the ability to conceptualize bespoke, innovative solutions rather than just selling standard products.

- Digital Media & Creative Expertise: Strong knowledge of the digital ecosystem and the creative development process, including video, content marketing, and design needs.
- Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex integrated strategies to C-level executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- Creative and Strategic Thinking: Ability to think creatively to develop unique solutions that package media and creative assets, strategically mapping them to client goals.
- Negotiation & Problem-Solving: Superior negotiation skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach to client challenges and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and presentation tools (Google Slides/PowerPoint).
