Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Supervisor / Site Coordinator to oversee workplace safety, quality control, and site coordination across our interior ceiling and partition projects. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, coordinate site documentation and communications, monitor workmanship quality, and interface with main contractors / clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Coordinator for the company; ensure full compliance with the WSH Act, regulations, and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at project sites; identify unsafe conditions or practices and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
• Maintain safety documentation: risk assessments, method statements, safe work procedures, permits to work, incident / near-miss / accident reports, toolbox meetings, induction logs, etc.
• Monitor and enforce use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safe working procedures (especially for works such as ceiling installations, partitions, works at height), and housekeeping.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, clients, and main contractors on safety, progress, quality, and compliance issues.
• Provide small progress updates to main contractor / client as needed (e.g. weekly or periodic site status, safety performance, quality issues).
• Ensure quality control of workmanship, especially for ceiling and partition works: check alignment, finishes, installation details, compliance with drawings / specifications.
• Support in accident/incident investigations; recommend and implement preventive measures.
• Conduct or organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, safety briefings, in-house trainings.
• Assist with audits by authorities / clients; ensure site is always ready for inspections.
• Maintain clean, orderly site conditions and ensure materials / tools are stored safely.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in interior ceiling & partition works (or related interior/construction sub-trade), including supervision, quality control, and safety.
• Possession of WSH Coordinator Certificate (recognised by MOM).
• Strong working knowledge of the WSH Act, regulations, codes of practice in Singapore.
• Good quality assurance / quality control skills: ability to spot defects, ensure installation meets drawings / finish standards.
• Good coordination, documentation and reporting skills; able to prepare updated for clients/main contractors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with subcontractors, clients, site teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, able to follow up and drive corrective actions.
• Comfortable moving across multiple sites; flexible to travel between sites.

Desirable / Plus

• Experience working with main contractors in interior fit-out / interior ceiling / partitions.
• Additional safety / trade certifications (e.g. Work-At-Height Supervisor, Confined Spaces, etc).
• Prior exposure to client audits or main contract compliance requirements.
