Job Scope (WSHO at a Main Contractor/Construction Site)
Compliance & Implementation: Implement, enforce, and monitor the Company’s Safety Management System (WSHMS) and ensure compliance with the WSH Act, Environmental Control (ECO) regulations, and NEA requirements.
Risk Management: Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments (RA), and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
Incident Investigation: Investigate all workplace accidents, near misses, and incidents; analyze trends and submit reports.
Coordination & Training: Liaise with MOM, NEA, BCA, and subcontractors regarding safety matters. Conduct toolbox meetings, safety inductions, and training for site personnel.
Documentation: Maintain all site safety records and documentation in accordance with ISO standards.
Site Presence: Actively patrol the construction site to ensure compliance
Registration: Must be a MOM-registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with a valid practicing certificate.
Experience: Minimum 1–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with preference for high-rise or public projects.
