Job summary

A leading safety engineering firm in Singapore seeks an experienced safety coordinator to work in Jurong Island or Tuas Area. The successful candidate will advise management on safety measures, investigate accidents, and monitor safety compliance. Ideal candidates possess a WHSO certification and have 2-3 years of experience in the chemical process sector. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Preferably 2-3 years working experience in a chemical process.
• Experience with diverse colleagues from different levels and cultures.
• Possess ECO Licence an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Advise PM and Management on safety & risk measures.
• Investigate accidents and submit reports to Management and authorities.
• Collaborate with PM to monitor safety compliance.

• Work in Jurong Island or Tuas Area
• Have experience in Oil & Gas, Chemical industries
• Advise PM and Management on safety & risk measures
• Investigate accidents and submit reports to Management and relevant authorities
• Keep record of safety-related incidents and propose corrective action
• Collaborate with PM to monitor safety compliance and identify any safety issues
• Intervene when there are any unsafe activities or operations
• Liaise with and report to official regulatory bodies on OSH matters
• Proven experience as safety coordinator or similar
• In-depth knowledge of OSH guidelines and practices
• Good communication and advisory skills
• Attentive, diligent and cooperative

Requirement

• WHSO Licence (Certified and registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WHSO)
• ECO Licence (Advantage)
• Preferably 2-3 years working experience in a chemical process
• Experiences working with colleagues and workers from different level, nationalities and cultures
• Good communications & interpersonal skills
