Job summary

A leading HR consultancy in Singapore seeks a Safety Executive to ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, conduct EHS training, and manage safety audits. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience and relevant certifications in Workplace Safety & Health. This role involves regular inspections, incident investigations, and supporting safety culture within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Workplace Safety & Health.
  • Strong understanding of safety compliance and regulations.
  • Proficient in EHS document management and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters.
  • Conduct EHS training for employees to raise awareness.
  • Manage EHS audits and certification documentation.
  • Investigate EHS incidents and accidents thoroughly.
  • Conduct monthly WSH inspections and follow up on findings.

Safety Executive
  • Salary: $2,800-$3,800
  • Working Days: Mon - Friday 8.15am - 5.30pm
  • Location: Jurong East
  • Min Diploma/Professional certification in Workplace Safety & Health
  • Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM (Preferably)
  • FSM certification, Biz Safety Level 2
  • Manage Work at Height Certificate – Assessor/Manager (Preferably)
  • Preferably with knowledge of local legislation e.g. WSH/SCDF/NEA
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Open to travel to multiple sites

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance on all safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters such as PPE, to ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations, safety requirements.
  • Identify training needs, develop, and deliver EHS training to strengthen employees’ awareness of EHS on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate internal/external audits and maintain EHS documents for ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 Certification and etc.
  • Ensure all EHS incidents and/or accidents are thoroughly investigated and effectively closed.
  • Conduct EHS induction for contractors or visitors as and when necessary.
  • Manage and/or provide guidance to contractors/sub-contractors in engaging their services and ensure safety rules are enforced during their course of work within the premises/sites.
  • Prepare and submit safety reports in accordance with site requirements and also regional reporting in monthly basis.
  • Establish and review risk assessments in accordance with the current Workplace Safety and Health Act’s (WSHA) requirement with stakeholder.
  • Conduct monthly WSH inspection with external consultant. Follow-up on the closure of inspection finding.
  • Analyse and provide statistic of safety gaps and ensure improvement according to Safety standard.
  • Maintain the Emergency Response Plan according to SCDF requirement which include Fire cert renewal, CERT teams structure.
  • Strengthen safety culture of our workforce and ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
  • In charge of performing daily operational activities in industrial building which includes attending to operation' enquiries, needs, and complaints related to WSH inspection finding.
  • Ensure all Fire safety related items equipment is maintained according to regulation requirement.
  • Support new customer enquiries such as new warehouse set-up requirement.
  • Responsible in performing preventive and breakdown technical support and maintenance for mechanical/electrical services, plumbing & sanitary services, Aircon servicing and maintenance, ACMV systems, chillers, and electrical control
