Job summary

A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking an experienced individual to manage safety and compliance within their operations. The role involves contributing to safety committees, ensuring ISO standards compliance, and attending site activities. Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree and at least 3 years of experience. The position requires good teamwork, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of safety regulations. Frequent travel to job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge in Workplace Safety & Health Act, ISO45001, ISO14000.
• Candidates with Fire Safety Manager certificate would have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Sub-WSH Committees and support their activities.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with ISO45001 and bizSAFE requirements.
• Attend site coordination, meetings, patrols, and other related activities.

Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Contribute to Sub-WSH Committees and provide support for key committees' activities, such as inspection, audit, promotion, training, circulation, etc.
• Contribute to Security Management, including operations, facility compliance, and system compliance.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with ISO45001 and bizSAFE requirements.
• Attend site coordination, meetings, patrols, and other related activities as required.

Added advantage

• Environmental knowledge in building energy conservation, waste management, monitoring, and promotion.
• Experience in building fire protection system, fire and emergency program.
• Experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM).

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and SSHE related with min 3 years of relevant experience.
• Team player, good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently
• Good knowledge in Workplace Safety & Health Act, ISO45001, ISO14000, Security Management Systems
• Candidates with Fire Safety Manager certificate would have an added advantage.
• Candidates must be comfortable with high travel frequency to other job sites, including Jurong Island.
• Singaporean only

Work Location: 11 Clementi Loop

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8.00am to 5.45pm
