Job Responsibilities:
- Advise Top Management on updates and new developments in the field of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH).
- Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and requirements in the execution of construction activities.
- Implement Lindner Facades Asia Project Safety Plan.
- Liaise with Clients' safety team in managing overall site safety.
- Assist in maintaining Lindner's Safety Management System to ISO 45001 standard and SS506 requirements / bizSAFE Star certification.
- Assist with safety program implementation at the workplaces towards safety culture development.
- Lead the contractors in the implementation of the Company's safety systems to promote the safe conduct of the works.
- Liaise closely with staff / Government Regulatory Authorities and clients on all EHS matters.
- Assist the Project Managers in safety enforcement and the achievement of WSH targets and objectives.
- Conduct periodic safety inspections of workplaces and review Risk Assessments to ensure continued adequacy and effectiveness.
- Carry out incident investigations and propose corrective actions to be implemented.
- Inspect and rectify any unsafe practices and conditions at the workplaces.
- Maintain and update safety-related documentation and records.
- Conduct safety training and/or briefings to staff.
- Assist in organizing WSH campaigns and safety-related activities.
- Participate in preparation for audits and follow up on actions needed from audit findings.
- Assist Corporate Safety Manager on safety (WSH) matters.
- Coordinate and implement the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan onsite with consultation with Clients.
- Take on any safety-related and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- Other duties as stipulated in the WSH Act.
Job Requirements:
