Job summary

Job Description

- Working Location: Jurong/Island Wide
- Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon - Fri 8.00am - 6.00pm; Sat 8.00am - 12.00pm)
- Salary Package: Basic salary up to $6,000 + Variable Bonus

Key Responsibilities
- Make sure all work follows the WSH Act, relevant regulations, and company safety rules.
- Carry out regular site safety checks and audits.
- Keep safety records up to date (risk assessments, method statements, safe work procedures, permits, incident/near-miss reports, toolbox meeting notes, induction logs).
- Check that workers use PPE, follow safe work procedures and keep good housekeeping.
- Work with site supervisors, subcontractors, clients, and main contractors on safety, progress, quality, and compliance matters.
- Give brief progress updates to the main contractor/client when needed.
- Check workmanship quality, especially for ceiling and partition works: alignment, finishes, installation details, and compliance with drawings/specifications.
- Support incident and accident investigations. Suggest and put in place preventive actions.
- Run or arrange safety inductions, toolbox talks, safety briefings, and in-house training.
- Keep the site ready for inspections at all times.
- Keep the site clean and orderly and store materials and tools safely.
