Job summary

An established company in health and safety is looking for a qualified professional to develop and implement their Health, Safety, and Environment policies. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations and leading the Safety team at project sites. Applicants should have the WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH or its equivalent and a solid understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Management System. Excellent interpersonal skills are required. This position is based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Registered WSHC/WSHO with MOM, ECO with NEA required.
• Good knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety Management System essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policy, programs, and procedures.
• Ensure safety compliance with statutory and contractual requirements.
• Oversee Safety team and conduct site safety inspections.

Responsibilities

• To develop & implement Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policy, programs & procedures
• To ensure all safety matters are in compliance with statutory, contractual & management system requirements
• To oversee and lead the Safety team in the implementation of company’s safety system at project sites
• To conduct toolbox meetings
• Perform construction site safety inspections & attend site walks with client & subcons
• Identify unsafe work practice and work condition & recommend control measures to project team
• Prepare/Review Risk Assessment/SWP/Method Statement/Permit-to-Work for all project works. Manage and maintain/update these safety records & checklists
• Inventory management for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Support haze and pandemic activities
• Respond promptly to incidents & accidents

Requirements

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH or its equivalent
• Registered WSHC/WSHO with MOM, ECO with NEA
• Have a good knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety Management System
• Have excellent people management & interpersonal skills
