Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks a Safety Coordinator to supervise a team and manage safety audits. The candidate should have at least a Diploma in a relevant field, minimum 2 years of experience in the construction or M&E industry, and be proficient in safety documentation. Qualifications

  • Registered WSHO.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Report to the Division Manager and supervise a team of Safety Coordinators
  • Conduct and coordinate internal HSE audits and site inspections
  • Manage customer complaints related to HSE issues and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions
  • Prepare, maintain, and update HSE documentation and procedural controls
  • Review and update site‑specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments (MSRA)
  • Recommend practical safety measures to mitigate foreseeable workplace risks
  • Develop and implement environmental control programmes for project sites
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to identify and rectify EHS irregularities
  • Establish and manage the WSH training matrix and coordinate relevant training programmes
  • Investigate workplace incidents, compile reports, and propose remedial actions
Requirements
  • At least Diploma in relevant field or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the construction or M&E industry
  • Registered WSHO
  • Familiar with local regulatory requirements and ISO standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficient in preparing safety reports, audits, and documentation
  • Able to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
