Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore seeks a Work Safety and Health Officer to manage and coordinate workplace safety initiatives. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining effective work safety and health activities. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in Singapore's construction sector, holds a valid WSHO registration, and possesses strong interpersonal skills. A competitive salary of up to $7,000 is offered, along with a 5.5-day work week.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Singapore building construction projects.
  • Preferably with relevant experience working as WSHO in building projects in the recent 5 years.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and maintain effective WSHE related work plans.
  • Coordinate WSH programme initiatives.
  • Conduct MSRA reviews and recommend control measures.
  • Report on WSHE issues to Management and prepare monthly summary reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.

Our client has more 40 years of success in offering a full spectrum of real estate services which includes Civil Engineering, Design and Build, Construction, Project Management Consultancy, Procurement and Mechanical & Electrical Installation, Precast and Prefabrication.

Job Description:
  • Work closely with different teams to plan, implement and maintain effective WSHE related work plans
  • Coordinate WSH programme initiatives
  • Actively conduct MSRA review and recommend appropriate control measures to mitigate risks on site
  • Identify areas for improvement and monitor implementation progress of recommended measures via site inspections and engagement with different work teams
  • Report on WSHE issues to Management including preparation of data and statistics in monthly summary report
  • Ensure project’s compliance with all statutory requirements at all times
  • Lead and coach site safety team
  • Liaise with Authorities
  • All other ad-hoc duties as and when directed
Job Requirements
  • Possess a valid WSHO registration with MOM.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Singapore building construction projects
  • Preferably with relevant experience working as WSHO in Building project in the recent 5 years
  • Self-driven and team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Working days : 5.5 days work week

Salary : Up to $7,000
