Job description

Implement safety policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements in daily operations.

Support Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) initiatives to reduce workplace incidents and man-day losses.

Conduct regular audits and inspections of work areas, laboratories, offices, and facilities.

Assist in preparing reports, reviewing Emergency Response Plans, and recommending improvements.

Deliver safety training and guidance to employees to promote awareness and safe practices.

Investigate incidents, identify corrective and preventive actions, and assist in report preparation.

Ensure compliance with environmental, fire, safety, and health regulations.

Manage permits required prior to work commencement.

Perform other safety-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum Specialist Diploma in Safety, Health and Environment as stipulated in the MOM’s accepted WSH-related qualifications
• Must be a registered with MOM as a WSH officer
• Min 3 years of related working experience
