Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Maintain records of safety incidents, training, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations (e.g., MOM, WSH Act in Singapore).
- Prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Promote continuous improvement in safety performance and culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing safety management.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001).
- Certified Safety Officer or equivalent (e.g., WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
