Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act and regulations.
• Ability to organize risk assessments for critical activities.
• Experience implementing Integrated Management System procedures.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with environmental health controls on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance with WSH Regulations and Act.
• Organize risk assessments for critical activities before work.
• Implement and monitor IMS-aligned work procedures on site.
• Plan WSHE activities and safety campaigns monthly.
• Inspect conditions, identify unsafe practices, and enforce corrective actions.
• Act as secretary for Site Monthly WSHE meetings and maintain records.
• Ensure up-to-date WSHE records and proper site housekeeping.
• Verify machinery is maintained and operated by competent personnel.
• Ensure PPE availability and proper usage for all workers and visitors.
• Maintain equipment registers and report major incidents immediately.
• Coordinate internal and external WSHE audits for continuous improvement.
• Conduct weekly joint WSHE inspections with subcontractors.
