Overview
Job Description & Requirements:
- Conduct regular safety inspections at site, identifying and addressing hazards promptly. This includes inspecting working areas, equipment and PPE.
- Collaborate with other site personnel, including site management and potential external authority agencies regarding all incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Provide regular safety briefings and training to workers, keeping them informed of potential hazards and safety procedures.
- Manage and oversee permit-to-work system, ensuring that all high-risk activities are properly authorized and conducted safely.
- Maintain close communication and collaboration with subcontractors to ensure that their work is carried out safely and in accordance with the overall safety plan.
- Monitor environmental conditions within the assigned area such as air quality, temperature and humidity to ensure workers' safety and well-being.
- Prior experience with Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in tunnel construction or in a similar field.
- First aid and emergency response training.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in WSH role.
- Possess WSQ Certificate in WSH qualification and other related safety certifications.
