Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Safety Manager to join our dynamic team. Your primary goal will be to ensure a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment for all personnel operating in a fast-paced port setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Compliance & Procedures:

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all local and safety regulations
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of terminal areas, equipment, and work practices.

Training & Development:

  • Support the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Conduct new hire safety orientations to instill a safety-first culture from day one.

Incident Investigation & Reporting:

  • Participate in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root cause.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
