A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Safety Coordinator with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry. The role involves conducting site inspections, developing safety training programs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Candidates should possess relevant safety certifications and strong communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to lead safety initiatives in a dynamic work environment.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and address potential safety hazards
Develop and implement safety training programs for site personnel
Maintain detailed records of safety incidents, near misses and corrective actions taken
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Investigate and report on all accidents and incidents, and recommend preventive measures
Assist in the development and review of health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
Participate in regular safety committee meetings to discuss and address safety concerns
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry
Exposure from LTA or MRT or Tunnel or Structural steel project is highly advantage
Excellent knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with all levels of personnel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant safety certifications, such as WSHC Level B or Level C
