Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Safety Compliance Officer to oversee workplace safety regulations. The role involves conducting safety inspections, preparing audit reports, and ensuring compliance with safety requirements. Candidates should have an advanced certificate in Workplace Safety & Health, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction sector. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of WSH regulations & requirements.
• Able to commence work immediately or within short notice.

Job description

Participate in daily administrative tasks for operations department and site activities.

Conduct safety inspections to ensure all site activities comply with safety requirements.

Ensure workers adhere workplace safety regulations and requirements.

Participate in regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure compliance with safety requirements.

Prepare reports related to ISO audit, BIZSAFE audit & Risk Assessments, etc.

Conduct toolbox meeting to workers.

Oversee and complete all documentation, permits, licenses required for WSH compliance.

Handle other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

• Must have Advanced certificate in Workplace Safety & Health.
