Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the HSE management system.
• Update procedures based on current legislation.
• Conduct accident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop HSE training and promotional programmes.
• Guide subcontractors to maintain safe working conditions.

Job description

• To assist WSHO/ECO in administrating and implementing company’s HSE management system and procedure
• Ensure procedures are updated with latest codes of practice and government legislation
• Ensure the effective implementation of risk and environmental impact assessment, and follow up actions to maintain high safety standard and compliance to company ISO, OHSAS and policy
• To assist WSHO/ECO in conducting accident / incident investigations and recommendation on corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• To assist WSHO in developing HSE in-house training and promotional programmes.
• Assist WSHO/ECO in generating audit evidence in terms of documentation or photos
• Able to guide and lead / coordinate all subcontractors to ensure safe working conditions
• Review and comment subcontractor’s submittals
• Prepare safety documents and reports where necessary
• Conduct safety training for subcontractors
