Job summary

A leading services provider in Singapore is seeking a Workplace Safety Coordinator to drive safety initiatives, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with health regulations. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in the oil and gas sector and relevant safety certifications. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and offers a chance to make a significant impact in workplace safety.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
  • Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
  • Able to work on short notice period will be an advantage.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Drive, co-ordinate and implement all Workplace Safety and Health Initiatives
  • Conduct Workplace Safety and Health audit and incident investigations
  • Produce Site Workplace Safety and Health Report on regular basis
  • Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and statutory requirements
  • Co-ordinate Workplace Safety and Health Meeting and conduct safety briefing, toolbox meeting and training.
  • Conduct regular inspection of worksite and recommend reasonably practical control measures at the workplace.
  • Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as may be required by the regulatory authorities.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
  • Possess a certificate in Safety Coordinator’s Course or Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
  • Possess a Confined Space Safety Assessor, Risk Management level 2, and Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant (OPSIC Supervisors)
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
  • Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
  • Able to work on short notice period will be an advantage
  • Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
