Job summary
A safety management firm in Singapore seeks an individual to conduct daily workplace safety and health inspections, assist in incident investigations, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The role involves working with subcontractors to implement health and safety procedures and guarantee proper usage of personal protective equipment. Candidates should have a proactive approach to safety and be able to handle operational duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily WSH inspection to ensure compliance.
- Assist in incident investigation and recommend corrective measures.
- Review risk assessments and update risk register.
- Ensure PTW documents are valid.
- Implement HSE procedures.
- Conduct inspections with subcontractors’ supervisors.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are in good condition.
- Ensure workers wear appropriate PPE.
- Ensure proper housekeeping by subcontractors.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks.
- Follow up on outstanding safety issues.
- Perform operational duties related to safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily WSH inspection to ensure total compliance to MOM regulations and recommend preventive measures.
- Assist WSH officer in incident/accident investigation and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Assist WSH officer in review risk assessments, safe work procedures and update risk register.
- Ensure PTW supporting documents are valid and in place for operational performance.
- Implement HSE procedures.
- Conduct inspection with subcontractors’ supervisors.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment at plants are in good working conditions.
- Ensure all workers at plants are wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
- Ensure proper housekeeping by the subcontractors on daily basis.
- Conduct daily toolbox with the subcontractors.
- Following up on all outstanding safety related issues.
- Operational duties will be assigned other than safety.
- Other duties as assigned by the Departmental Manager.
