The investment management business currently manages ~SGD 2 billion of AUM on behalf of institutional investors, with strong aspirations for growth within the region.

Job Role

As a Safety Coordinator, you will support the implementation and monitoring of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices across facilities management operations. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, promote safety awareness, and coordinate safety protocols for contractors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Compliance
    • Assist in implementing and maintaining the Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS)
    • Ensure adherence to WSH and environmental regulations
    • Support risk assessments, safe work procedures (SWPs), and job safety analyses
    • Prepare safety documentation for audits, inspections, and client reporting
    • Conduct routine site inspections and follow up on corrective actions
  2. Contractor & Worksite Safety
    • Coordinate safety requirements for contractors performing maintenance or project works
    • Verify permits‑to‑work (PTWs), risk assessments, and safety plans before work commencement
    • Monitor high‑risk activities (e.g., hot works, working at height, confined space entry, lifting operations)
    • Report unsafe practices and assist in enforcing corrective measures
  3. Incident & Emergency Response
    • Assist in investigating safety incidents and maintaining incident records
    • Prepare incident reports and track follow‑up actions
    • Participate in emergency response planning and fire drills
  4. Safety Training & Awareness
    • Conduct safety briefings and toolbox meetings
    • Support safety induction programmes for new staff and vendors
    • Promote safety culture through campaigns and communication initiatives
  5. Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain records of inspections, PTWs, risk assessments and incidents
    • Submit monthly safety performance reports to the FM Manager
    • Track corrective and preventive actions from audits and inspections

  • Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health or Safety Coordinator Course (Level B)
  • Certified Work‑at‑Height Assessor
  • Registered Safety Coordinator with MOM (Singapore)
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in facilities management, property, or construction
  • Strong knowledge of WSH Act, regulations, and codes of practice
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety report writing
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders
