Job summary

A safety services company in Singapore is seeking a Safety Coordinator to ensure adherence to safety protocols and assist in emergency response as a Site Incident Controller. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 2 years of experience in safety coordination and possess an Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health. Proficiency in English and MS Office is essential, while experience in AutoCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years experience in safety coordination for site project work.
• Experience in site coordination, PM and installation works is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Safety rules according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Establish core emergency response skills as Site Incident Controller.
• Prepare and update documents for risk assessment and method statements.

Job description

1. To carry out Safety rules accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions at site.

2.To set expectations and establish core emergency response skill and knowledge to undertake the responsibilities of a Site Incident Controller (SIC).

3.To prepare and update documents for risk assessment, method statement and BCA / Bizsafe submission.

4. Provide every Monday on safety orientation to Technical staff for task follow-up.

Requirements

• Relevant 1 to 2 years experience for safety co-ordination site project work.
• Advance Certificate in Workplace safety and Health (Level B and Above.) IS A MUST
• Advantage if have some experience in site coordination, PM and installation works. The added advantage when having Service and Facility Maintenance for hospitals, nursing homes and industrial sites.
• MS Office & PC literate & Auto-cad drawing is an advantages
• Proficient in written and spoken English

Working Hours

Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm

Overtime : x 1.5 hrs After office hours
