Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a Safety Coordinator to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with OSH guidelines. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in the Semiconductor industry and 2 years in construction. Required certifications include Manage Work at Height and First Aider. Immediate starters are preferred. This role requires excellent knowledge of safety legislations and procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Safety Coordinator in Semi-Conductor Industry.
• At least 2 years of experience in Construction Industry.
• Required to have certifications in Manage Work at Height, First Aider, and WSH Coordinator Training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSH guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessment and implement OHS policies.
• Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations.
• Maintain safety documentation as per ISO4501.

Skills

Knowledge of legislations and procedures

Responsibilities

• Responsible for facilitating compliance with OSH guidelines. Your goal will be to always ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents.
• To conduct risk assessment
• Adhere to all the rules and regulations at the site.
• Plan and implement OHS policies
• Enforce preventative measures
• Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
• Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety
• Maintain Safety documentation as per ISO4501
• Ad-hoc job require on off according to the site

Qualifications

• At least 1 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator in Semi-Conductor Industry
• At least 2 years experience in Construction Industry
• Excellent knowledge of legislations and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
• Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety
• Required to certification in Manage Work at Height, First Aider and WSH Coordinator Training.
• Able to read & write in Chinese
• Main HQ is in Taiwan
• Able to start immediately or within a short notice period
• Minimal Qualification: Advance Certificate in WSH
