Job summary

A leading facade contractor in Singapore is looking for a Safety Officer to ensure safe work practices at construction sites. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, providing safety training, investigating incidents, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Safety, at least 3 years of experience in facade projects, and proficiency in English and Mandarin. Knowledge of relevant tools like MS Projects and AutoCAD is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Safety or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Facade projects in Singapore.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.

Job Description

• Implement and monitor safe work practices and procedures on the construction site
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
• Provide safety training and toolbox talks to site personnel
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Maintain comprehensive safety documentation and records
• Assist to manage and monitor site operation, workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is applied within site at all time.
• Collaborate with the project management team to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of the project
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Safety Officer / Project Manager

Requirements

1. Diploma in Safety or a related field.
2. Familiar with Curtain Wall System.
3. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Facade projects in Singapore.
4. Knowledge of MS Projects, Office, AutoCAD, etc.
5. Proficiency in English and Mandarin preferably.
