Job summary

Menlo Research is seeking a visuals-focused content creator to own our lab storytelling. You will develop ideas and bring them to life, from lab footage to launch videos, helping people understand what we're building and why it matters.

You will shoot and edit end to end, maintain a consistent look and feel, work with the engineering team to identify story-worthy moments, and collaborate with Growth to test formats and grow our channels.

Qualifications

• Hands-on video production and editing skills, with good judgement on clip vs. full production.
• Strong sense of story, pacing, and platform dynamics.
• Ability to find stories and produce work without a detailed brief.
• Comfort using AI tools to enhance content where it improves quality.

Responsibilities

• Create videos around product releases, engineering progress, and customer projects.
• Bring original ideas through production from concept to final cut.
• Maintain a consistent visual look and feel across content.
• Collaborate with the technical team to identify compelling moments.
• Work with Growth to test formats and optimize performance.
• Shoot and edit end to end, from lab footage to final cut.
• Manage the content calendar to keep a steady flow of outputs across channels.
• Capture the real moments of building a humanoid, including wins and in-progress work.
