Job summary

A leading aerospace firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled engineer specializing in guidance, navigation, and control systems for aircraft. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field and at least 4 years of experience in system modeling and control. Proficiency in C/C++ and tools like MATLAB/Simulink is essential. This role requires an analytical mind capable of troubleshooting during flight tests and integrating new technologies into drone systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of working experience in aircraft applications.
• Experience in developing model-based design and analyses.
• Familiarity with inertial and other types of sensors for navigation.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify GNC systems and algorithms for aircraft.
• Analyze flight data to verify performance and troubleshoot.
• Support ground and flight test activities.

Job Description

• In charge of designing, developing and modify guidance, navigation, and flight control systems and algorithms for company aircraft systems.
• Responsible in analyzing flight data to verify flight performance and to help to troubleshoot issues that are found during the flights of company drone systems.
• In charge of selecting, testing, evaluating and integrating new sensors or navigation systems onto the company drone systems
• In charge of the generating documentation on the specifications, design, test procedures and test results of the GNC systems and algorithms that were developed.
• Responsible in developing and modifying 6-DOF and hardware-in-the-loop in simulation environments.
• In charge of supporting ground and flight test activities
• Responsible in participating in design and code reviews.
• Working with the cross function departments

Job Requirement

• Minimum Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Aerospace/ Mechatronics Engineering or relevant
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in system modelling and control, analysis, and simulation in aircraft applications. and developing model-based design and analyses using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming language and software and development tools such as Linux, ROS and Git.
• Knowledge in inertial and other type of sensors for navigation
• Knowledge in Kalman filtering, digital signal processing and sensor data fusion.
