Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer focused on robotics deployment. You will take state-of-the-art AI models and make them work on real robots, in real environments, for real customers.

This hands-on role combines machine learning with physical systems, delivering end-to-end autonomous solutions across diverse use cases. Qualificações

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Mechatronics/Robotics or related field.
• Fluent English with strong communication.
• Strong Python/C++ software engineering with production code experience.
• Knowledge of ROS/ROS2 robotics frameworks.
• Experience with robot perception and state estimation (SLAM, localization, mapping).
• Familiarity with simulation tools (Isaac Sim, Gazebo).
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and ships.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate AI models with robotic hardware, sensors, and embedded systems.
• Improve robustness, reliability, and safety of robotic systems in real environments.
• Test and validate algorithms in simulation and real deployments.
• Analyze field data to improve model performance and reliability.
• Develop and tune autonomy stack: localization, mapping, navigation, perception.
