Job summary

PwC Singapore is offering a Digital Audit Year-End Intern opportunity within our Risk Services practice. You will work with technology and business professionals to assess cybersecurity risks, data privacy controls, and IT risk management across client processes.

As an intern, you will help document IT systems, contribute to risk assessments, and gain hands-on experience in auditing standards (GAAS) while developing your professional skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year Accountancy, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or IT student from local university preferred.
• Strong academic record and active involvement in cocurricular activities.
• Good leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technology and business professionals to advise on technology risks across processes, apps and IT risk frameworks including cybersecurity and privacy.
• Document client processes and IT systems to identify key risk points and test IT controls to identify deficiencies.

Our Risk Services Practice provides an invaluable safeguard in today’s complex operating environment with insights and independent assurance. We work with clients to deliver business control to help them to protect and strengthen every aspect of their business from people to performance, systems to strategy, business plans to business resilience. We help clients manage, mitigate and control risks from potential cybersecurity breaches to possible breaks in the supply chain. We assess and prepare businesses by looking into their technology, finance, data analytics, regulatory requirements, data security and privacy, internal audit, and the third parties our clients rely on, to help clients deliver quality results and meet their strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As a Digital Audit Year-EndIntern:

• You will collaborate with technology and business professionals to advise clients on technology risks across business processes, applications and IT risk management frameworks – including cybersecurity and data privacy.
• You will be involved in projects related to cyber security risks and assist to conduct risk assessments by documenting client processes and IT systems to identify key risk points. You will evaluate the effectiveness of controls and perform IT control testing to identify control deficiencies.

• Penultimate year Accountancy, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Information Technology students from reputable local universities preferred.
• Good track record of academic achievements.
