Job summary

PwC Singapore invites talented students to join our Risk Services practice, where we safeguard clients and help them navigate complex risks through cybersecurity assessments, testing, and red team simulations.

As a graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT, you will learn to identify vulnerabilities, evaluate security postures, and contribute to client projects while developing professional skills in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Students in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology from local or overseas universities/polytechnics.
• Fundamental knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of security testing tools (e.g., Kali Linux, Covenant, Metasploit, nmap, Burp Suite).
• Enthusiastic, confident, creative, and highly motivated to develop professionally.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to teamwork and excellence.
• Knowledge of scripting programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Penetration testing certifications such as CEH, CRT, OSCP – an advantage.
• Participation in CTF competitions, publication of research or tools within offensive security domain – an advantage.

Our Risk Services Practice provides an invaluable safeguard in today’s complex operating environment with insights and independent assurance. We work with clients to deliver business control to help them protect and strengthen every aspect of their business – from people to performance, systems to strategy, business plans to resilience. We help clients manage, mitigate and control risks from potential cybersecurity breaches to supply‑chain disruptions. We assess and prepare businesses by examining their technology, finance, data analytics, regulatory requirements, data security and privacy, internal audit, and the third parties they rely on.

Key Responsibilities

• Penetration Testing – learn to identify and exploit vulnerabilities, securing clients’ assets and protecting sensitive data while gaining hands‑on experience.
• Red Teaming – simulate adversary tactics, techniques and procedures to test organizational defenses, achieving specific objectives, conducting covert operations and maintaining long‑term access to compromised systems.
• Cybersecurity Assessment – evaluate clients’ security posture through host configuration reviews, source‑code reviews, architecture reviews and risk assessments.

What We Are Looking For

• Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Information Technology students from reputable local and overseas universities / polytechnics.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of information technology and cyber security.
• Knowledge of security testing tools (e.g., Kali Linux, Covenant, Metasploit, nmap, Burp Suite).
