Goldman Sachs' Risk Division in Singapore seeks a junior risk professional to help identify, monitor, and assess risk across the Asia Pacific footprint. You will work with the APAC CRO and Risk COO to support regional portfolio risk management in a fast-paced environment.
You will interact with regulators, coordinate responses, and contribute to risk governance by participating in policy development and risk committee activities. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
The Risk Division aims to effectively identify, monitor, evaluate, and manage the firm’s financial and non-financial risks in support of the firm’s Risk Appetite Statement and strategic plan. Operating in a fast paced and dynamic environment and utilizing best in class risk tools and frameworks, Risk teams are analytically curious, have an aptitude to challenge, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
This team is responsible for ensuring that the firm’s risks are managed with a consistent and integrated approach, such that the firm has a regular, comprehensive view of its risk profile as well as of key trends and emerging risks relative our risk appetite.
The team ensures that Risk & Divisional leadership is consistently informed on the holistic risk profile, inclusive of financial and non-financial risks, in a way that facilitates strategic planning and risk decision making. It interfaces with a wide array of businesses and risk management groups across the firm. The cross-disciplinary nature of the projects that the team engages in makes for a rewarding and multifaceted work environment.
