Gecko Labs Pte. Ltd. is seeking a talented and experienced Risk Manager to join our dynamic team. In this full‑time role based in the Central Region, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and safeguarding the organisation's financial and operational resilience.

What you'll be doing

• Develop, implement, and continuously enhance the company's risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks
• Monitor and analyse risk data, producing comprehensive reports for senior management and the Board of Directors
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure effective risk mitigation measures are in place
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry regulations and best practices, advising the organisation on compliance requirements
• Oversee the implementation of internal control systems and processes to ensure effective risk management
• Provide training and guidance to employees on risk management practices
• Work closely with the Compliance team to ensure the organisation adheres to all relevant laws and regulations

What we're looking for

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a risk management or compliance role, preferably in the banking and financial services industry
• Thorough understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams
• Proficient in using risk management software and data analysis tools
• Certification in risk management (e.g., CRM, CRMA) or compliance (e.g., CAMS, CRCM) is a plus
