Job summary

GYK Talensync is seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Associate with a financial industry background to support enterprise risk management, strengthen compliance processes, and contribute to regulatory and governance initiatives.

The role involves risk assessments, KYC/CDD procedures, QA reviews, and regular updates to policies and controls to meet regulatory requirements, supporting audits and management reporting, to help the organization manage risks effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, risk management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, internal audit, compliance, or financial services.
• Knowledge of AML/CFT and KYC/CDD regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with documentation and communication of risk findings.

Responsibilities

• Support the Enterprise Risk Management framework by conducting risk assessments, maintaining risk registers, and monitoring key risk indicators.
• Execute KYC/CDD procedures, including onboarding, screening, risk assessments, and periodic reviews.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews on onboarding, monitoring, and compliance documentation to identify gaps.
• Recommend and implement process and control improvements to strengthen risk management and compliance effectiveness.
• Assist in preparing regulatory reports, audits, inspections, and management reporting activities.
• Update and maintain risk and compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls to align with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in risk, compliance, and governance projects to support organizational objectives.
