This Compliance Associate role focuses on onboarding reviews, AML/CFT assessments, ongoing client due diligence, and support for audits and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in similar roles in FIs or fintech; fresh graduates with relevant internships will also be considered
• Working knowledge of AML/CFT and experience in similar role
• Independent, proactive and problem-solving
• Candidates able to start work on short notice will have an advantage

Responsibilities

• Review of new clients and relevant enhanced due diligence (EDD) performed during onboarding process requiring approval from Compliance
• Conduct annual and trigger-based review / assessment of clients flagged by Compliance Operations in relation to AML/CFT requirements
• Perform ongoing due diligence on existing clients
• Support cross-functional Compliance testing programmes (e.g. review of marketing materials)
• Perform representatives licensing application, cessation and maintenance / review exercises to ensure compliance with licensed representatives' obligations
• Support gathering of information for audit inspections/regulatory reporting
• Carry out other compliance-related work as required
