Job summary

A financial services company is seeking an experienced professional for a credit risk role in Singapore. Responsibilities include reviewing and monitoring credit risk exposures, preparing reports for senior management, and participating in credit risk projects. Ideal candidates will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and a firm understanding of financial products. Familiarity with MAS612 and related regulations is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Credit Risk environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deal with data sets.
  • Knowledge of MAS612, MAS Notice 1111, and FRS109 is an added advantage.

  • Review and monitor credit risk exposures across Loan and Treasury portfolios.
  • Prepare and deliver credit risk reports for Senior Management and Regulatory Authorities.
  • Serve as Secretariat for Credit, Risk, and Investment Committee meetings.

Job Description
  • Review and monitor credit risk exposures across Loan and Treasury portfolios
  • Conduct analysis of bank clients, update credit profiles, and assign internal ratings and statutory gradings
  • Participate in credit risk projects focusing on risk data‑mart, data analytics, and process streamlining
  • Prepare and deliver credit risk reports for Senior Management, Board of Directors, and Regulatory Authorities
  • Review and update policy as needed
  • Maintain documentation and resources related to credit and operational risk
  • Serve as Secretariat for Credit, Risk, and Investment Committee meetings; prepare agendas and document minutes
  • Assist in system implementation and UAT testing
  • Execute ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Credit Risk environment
  • Educational background in Banking, Finance, Economics, or any relevant discipline
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deal with data sets
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize accordingly
  • Good understanding of financial products
  • Knowledge of MAS612, MAS Notice 1111, and FRS109 is an added advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
