Job summary

PERCEPT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Linux systems engineer to install, configure, and manage RHEL servers, design clustering for high availability, and automate tasks. You will support end-to-end OS builds, provisioning, and ongoing patching while ensuring system reliability.

Responsibilities include managing storage, networking, and services, plus troubleshooting cluster components and documenting procedures for future reference.

Qualifications

• Strong RHEL product knowledge and system administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with cluster setup and management.
• Experience with OS installation and kickstart-based automated builds.
• Good understanding of Linux internals, boot process, and system services.
• Experience with storage management (LVM, multipathing).
• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, bonding, firewall).
• Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage RHEL 7/8/9 systems.
• Perform end-to-end OS build and server provisioning.
• Design and implement RHEL clustering solutions (HA setups).
• Manage and troubleshoot cluster components and services.
• Configure and maintain system services, storage, and file systems.
• Perform system patching, upgrades, and security hardening.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
• Troubleshoot OS, hardware, and cluster-related issues.
• Automate administrative tasks using shell scripting or Ansible.
• Maintain documentation for system builds, configurations, and procedures.
